“Foodie” Hall of Fame Inductee SeaLegs Wine Bar Offers November Special: House-made Sweet Potato Gnocchi with Prosciutto, Mushrooms, Brown Butter and Sage Among Other Delectable Seasonal Dishes

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (November 18, 2014) – Fall flavors are all the buzz for three-time Best Californian Cuisine Golden Foodie Award Winner SeaLegs Wine Bar as it launches its latest menu, highlighting flavors of the fall season. Also available through the winter, SeaLegs Wine Bars’ fall/winter menu captures the essence of the season by creating authentic dishes centered on spicy, warm and smoky flavors.

SeaLegs Owner Alicia Whitney and Executive Chef Alexander Dale welcome guests to experience fall menu favorites such as the Duck Confit Shephards Pie, Mushroom Kale Flatbread, Cabernet Braised Short Rib, Grilled Lime Caesar Salad, Roasted Butternut Squash Salad, and Persimmon Funnel Cake.

Chef Alex’s flavorful House-made Sweet Potato Gnocchi with Prosciutto, Mushrooms, Brown Butter, Sage and Parmesan will be on special throughout the entire month of November.

SeaLegs Wine Bar will also expand its cocktail menu to offer seasonally inspired drinks, including Winters Coming (whiskey, grapefruit juice, lemon juice, creme de cassis) and New Harvest (London dry gin, apple brandy, dry vermouth, orgeat and angostura bitters).

“Our amazing Executive Chef Alexander Dale strives to use sustainable ingredients according to the season, finding inspiration based on the weather, and we hope that foodies everywhere will savor in our new menu additions,” says SeaLegs Wine Bar Owner Alicia Whitney. “We are particularly excited to bring back the Duck Confit Shephards Pie, which we’ve heard from foodies alike is one of their favorite dishes for the cooler seasons.”
