As a Huntington Beach resident, I’ve often wondered why Huntington Beach has been so far behind our neighbors in unique culinary offerings. While there are some great restaurants, it’s nowhere near the amount it should be for the size of this city and it’s population. Enter Red Table. This place just opened a few months back and it’s one of the first restaurants helping to fill that void in Huntington Beach.
For my first lunch visit, I decide to have their Pork Sandwich.
Look at this thing. The pork is shaved paper thin so it melts in your mouth. It’s layered with sauteed greens, provolone cheese and served with black pepper and smoked paprika jus for your dipping pleasure. It also comes with a pickle that’s more cucumber than pickle.
