Today, I’m at Tasty Garden on Bolsa Ave in Westminster. A small restaurant in one of the city’s many strip malls.
I’m really hungry today and a salad won’t do. Braised Pork Belly however fits the bill.
To say this dish is rich is an understatement since every bite is laced with a half inch of fat.
Pork Belly really is the epitome of melt in your mouth decadent. Even the meaty parts seemed to disappear like butter with just a single bite. Oh, the magic of slowly braised foods. If it were any more tender, I’d need to trade my fork for a straw.
The flavors are so rich that only white rice will do in this situation. Anything else would be flavor overload.
