Burger Time at Park Ave

Park Avenue is the shining jewel in Stanton.  Its unassuming location in this city not known for it’s culinary offerings adds to its fun character.  I learned of it glancing in Orange Coast magazine a couple of years back and found that it topped the list of best restaurant in all Orange County for that year.  Quite an endorsement so I had to check it out.

Park Avenue has a very cool diner chic atmosphere that is unique on it’s own.   But there are other fun surprises waiting in the back of the restaurant including a beautiful garden for all their produce needs and another “secret” restaurant.  But that’s another post for another day!

So I’m here on my lunch break and I’ve got burger craving so I order their Horseradish Burger.  The fixins include Havarti cheese, grilled onions and freshly grated horseradish for a great kick.   It’s coupled with house made potato chips that serve as crispy interludes between each savory bite.

Gotta go back to work.
